When you get to the Half Way point of a marathon run 2
things will come into your mind.
1. “Yes
I Finally Half Way!” and . . .
2. “Oh
wait; I still have the same amount of work to go . . . Shit!”
Right now I am happy that I am Half Way through my
Course, but I’m also just starting to realise just how much work still has to
be done before I can receive that Small piece of paper. In any case it’s good
to be back and hitting the ground running. First week back and we have Personal
animation projects to start making documentation and an art bible for and for
CIU we started out with a lecture on Postmodernism and chose teams for our cross
media projects.
Our Brief for our Personal Project is to create 2
animations with necessary audio from scratch. They have to be between 30-45
seconds long. Contain the same characters/be in the same world and one has to
be in 2D and the other one has to be in 3D.
I have gone through several iterations of the story now
to make it fit into the Time limit and the log line is as follows.
“A Vagabond is wandering
through a Desert Wasteland When he comes across a new little friend”
To finish off this post I will leave you with the first
colour test/concept art for my animation titled “VAGABOND”, Enjoy!
